My name is Chrissy Carew, I am the founder of Insightful Player, LLC. I am also a Personal Business Coach and I work with high integrity professional football players to maximize performance on and off the field. I also work with trailblazers who have an indomitable will and are relentless in their pursuit of elevating the world to awe-inspiring heights.
The grounding for my fulfilling career was inspired by my father, the late Coach Walter Carew, Sr. My father is in several Halls of Fame as a high school football coach and baseball coach (as well as high school and college athlete). He used sports to help kids build strong character and teach them valuable life skills. The Insightful Player® initiative was created to help make our world a much better place by inspiring youth through the stories and programs of an amazing group of high-integrity NFL players, each of whom overcame life obstacles to reach the NFL. These stories are featured in my book, INSIGHTFUL PLAYER: Football Pros Lead A Bold Movement of Hope and a shorter version of their stories are posted on my website www.insightfulplayer.com.
Below is a link to the story of an incredible individual, Rashied Davis, whose father was murdered by gang members when he was eight years old. Rashied overcame terrible surroundings to achieve a career in the NFL and to create his own Foundation to assist the lives of children.
