Saint Louis Rams’ Jason Brown wants kids to believe in their potential

Sometimes Jason finds himself very frustrated, when he sees other people who have tremendous potential but waste it away. He reminds them of the parable of the ant and the grasshopper. The ant spends the summer working hard, preparing for winter, while the grasshopper plays all summer, making fun of the ant. But when winter comes, the ant has everything he needs while the grasshopper has nothing and goes hungry. Many kids who spend their teen years succumbing to peer pressure get to adulthood and find themselves hit hard by the real world, like grasshoppers in winter. He hopes to inspire more kids to act like ants, rather than grasshoppers. Read his story here.
